When you sell your product(s) to a foreign company or individual you may be required to supply a Certificate of Free Sale. A CFS is usually requested by a country's customs agency in order to verify that your products do in fact originate from and are currently being sold in the United States.

The World Trade Center Denver is pleased to announce that the popular "Bureau of Industry & Security - Complying with U.S. Export Controls" two day program is scheduled for Apri 7 - 8, 2010. This program is led by BIS's professional counseling staff and provides an in-depth examination of the EAR. The program will focus on what items and activities are subject to the EAR; steps to take to determine export licensing requirements for your item; how to determine your export control classification number (ECCN); when you can export or reexport without applying for a license; an overview of the Export Management and Compliance Program (EMCP) concepts; and real life examples in applying this information.
Colorado International Trade Office Receives Federal Grant to Promote Clean-Tech Exports in China and Mexico

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced today that the Colorado International Trade Office (ITO), a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (COEDIT), is one of five recipients of the Market Development Cooperators Program (MDCP) for 2009. The ITO will receive $363,135 in matching funds over the next three years to support Colorado company exports of clean and environment-related products and services to China and Mexico. The World Trade Center Denver looks forward to playing an integral role in the CO-EXist program. We look forward to seeing you at the kickoff of the CO-EXist program at the CORE Sustainable Opportunities Summit, March 2 - 4, 2010.
DIA Selected as WTC Denver 2009 Strategic Partner

Denver International Airport was the recipient of the World Trade Center Denver's 2009 Strategic Partner Award for their outstanding support of the World Trade Center's activities and events as well as their assistance in developing and printing a new World Trade Center Denver marketing brochure. Mary Buckley from DIA accepted the award. DIA continues to be a national and international leader in airport operations and services and serves as the Rocky Mountain region's gateway to the world.
